Beyond Aero strengthens Nordic market traction with Huginn Aviation appointment and regional operator support

Beyond Aero has appointed Huginn Aviation as Area Sales Representative for Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland, reinforcing its commercial presence in one of Europe’s most active and sustainability-oriented business aviation regions.

The appointment marks a new step in Beyond Aero’s commercial development across the Nordic market, where active business aviation operations, demanding flight environments, regional connectivity needs, and growing sustainable aviation infrastructure initiatives are increasingly converging. It follows ongoing dialogue with operators, aircraft owners, airports, and infrastructure stakeholders around the operational case for hydrogen-electric business aircraft.
Based in Scandinavia, Huginn Aviation is a trusted aviation partner specializing in aircraft sales, acquisitions, appraisals, and tailored aviation consultancy services. The company combines deep operational and technical understanding of the Nordic aviation market with a modern perspective on the future of business aviation.
For Beyond Aero, the appointment is not only a regional representation agreement, but a signal of growing market engagement around hydrogen-electric business aviation in a region where operational needs, sustainability ambition, and infrastructure initiatives are increasingly aligned. Sweden alone recorded over 95,000 business aviation movements in 2024, underscoring the need for flexible, reliable, lower-emission aircraft with broad airport access.

The Nordics are a highly relevant market for Beyond Aero because they combine demanding regional missions, strong sustainability ambitions, and operators actively looking to the future of business aviation. For an OEM, market credibility is built through operational fit, commercial engagement, and ecosystem readiness. Huginn Aviation brings the regional expertise, trusted relationships, and long-term perspective needed to help us structure that dialogue with aircraft owners, operators, flight departments, and infrastructure stakeholders.

Benjamin Le Drogo, Head of Sales, Beyond Aero

As Beyond Aero’s Area Sales Representative, Huginn Aviation will support commercial development across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland by engaging with aircraft owners, operators, flight departments, brokers, and aviation stakeholders. The company will also contribute to regional awareness and dialogue around hydrogen-electric aviation, helping Beyond Aero connect customer needs, operational use cases, and infrastructure readiness.

We are proud to represent Beyond Aero across the Nordic countries. Our role is to bring our regional aviation expertise, operator relationships, and long-term perspective to support the introduction of a new generation of business aircraft. Beyond Aero’s hydrogen-electric aircraft program is aligned with the direction we believe aviation must take: cleaner, smarter, and operationally credible. What makes this partnership particularly meaningful is our shared belief that innovation and sustainability must go hand in hand to shape the future of aviation

Danni Gerner Hansen, Owner of Huginn Aviation ApS

The Nordic region is particularly relevant for Beyond Aero’s first aircraft, the BYA-I, because it combines short-to-medium regional missions, dispersed airport networks, demanding weather and operating conditions, and critical use cases such as medevac. The region is also among Europe’s most active in exploring pathways toward sustainable aviation, with Sweden targeting fossil-free domestic flights by 2030 and all flights departing from Swedish airports fossil-free by 2045.
Beyond Aero is already engaged in discussions with regional airport and infrastructure stakeholders, including BSR HyAirport, as part of its broader work to assess and support the hydrogen aviation ecosystem. Collaboration between aircraft manufacturers, airports, energy providers, operators, and regional stakeholders will be essential to ensure aircraft development, airport readiness, and energy infrastructure can progress together.

Preparing airport infrastructure for the next generation of aviation is an ongoing effort across the ecosystem. Airports, manufacturers, operators, and energy providers are already working together to understand and anticipate the operational needs of electric and hydrogen-powered aircraft. Initiatives such as BSR HyAirport are helping build this foundation and accelerate the transition toward more sustainable aviation in Northern Europe.

Regional operator interest further supports the commercial relevance of Beyond Aero’s approach. Air Alsie, a leading Danish business aviation operator, has been active in aviation sustainability for several years through the Alsie Sustainable Aviation Program, launched in 2019 to accelerate the sector’s environmental transformation.

We are very excited about the new hydrogen-powered technology that Beyond Aero is bringing to the market with the BYA-I. At Air Alsie, we are committed to being at the forefront of the sustainability transition in business aviation. SAF is an important step forward, but breakthrough technologies will be required to take business aviation sustainability to the next level. Beyond Aero stands out as the most promising solution in its category. The BYA-I offers a highly compelling combination of cabin comfort, operational range, operating economics, and zero-emission hydrogen propulsion. We are confident it will be an attractive aircraft for our Nordic customers and a significant contributor to the future of sustainable business aviation.

Henrik Therkelsen, CEO, Air Alsie

Through this collaboration, Beyond Aero and Huginn Aviation aim to support the evolution of business aviation in Northern Europe by combining aircraft innovation, regional market expertise, operator interest, and ecosystem engagement. With Huginn Aviation representing Beyond Aero across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland, Nordic customers gain access to dedicated regional expertise and a direct connection to one of the most advanced hydrogen-electric aircraft programs in development.
