RETN Wins Digital Action Award for Infrastructure Innovation
The Tech Capital awarded RETN the Digital Infrastructure Action Award for our response to real-world challenges like the 2024 Red Sea cable cuts and ongoing wartime conditions in Ukraine. Through revised network design, added route diversity, and local initiatives like our new DDoS scrubbing centre in Kyiv, RETN is at the forefront of strengthening resilience where it’s needed most.

RETN Named Europe’s Most Connected Network by LINX
RETN has been named the Most Connected Network in Europe and Top Reseller by the London Internet Exchange. The recognition is based on LINX’s annual ConneXions Reseller Partner metrics, presented at its recent member meeting and AGM. It reflects RETN’s growing role in building scalable, accessible infrastructure across the region.

Keeping Silpo Connected: A Case Study about Resilience
Silpo Food, one of Ukraine’s largest supermarket chains, partnered with RETN to enhance connectivity between its key data centres and cloud platforms across Europe. RETN delivered a custom network solution linking Frankfurt to IBM, AWS, and Azure, boosting performance and resilience. As a result, Silpo saw a 30% increase in network performance, 25% faster data transfer, and strengthened cybersecurity across its operations.

400GbE Optics Deployed Across RETN’s Eurasian Network
RETN has completed the full-scale deployment of 400GbE coherent pluggable optics across its entire Pan-Eurasian IP network, marking one of the most extensive and eco-conscious IP-over-DWDM deployments in production today. Setting new benchmarks for sustainability: 40% power savings, 55% lower carbon footprint, and 15% less space required.

New High-Performance Route Launches Between Milan and Padua
The new route, spanning 360 km and adding to RETN’s 140,000 km global network, takes a highly optimised path and introduces a key improvement: the segment from Milan to Ponte San Pietro (Bergamo) is the shortest and most efficient connection available on the market, bringing significant benefits, particularly for latency-sensitive sectors like finance.

RETN Now Offers Remote IX Access to JPNAP in Japan
RETN has partnered with JPNAP, one of Japan’s top IXPs, to expand its Remote IX services into Asia. This move enables RETN customers to peer directly with Japanese networks without local infrastructure, opening access to Japan’s digital economy. High-performance Asia connectivity, made simple.

RETN Strengthens Mediterranean Reach with Medloop Route Integration
RETN has added the new Medloop Cable System to its network, creating a new subsea route between Marseille and Milan, adding new capacity and route diversity between key Mediterranean landing points. Complimenting RETN’s Marseille–Paris upgrade, it supports growing demand for alternative, lower-risk paths in Southern Europe.
