Design and Technology Studio “wild” Joins the Residence Network

The ninth company to join the expanding network will serve US and European markets as a design and technology partner for modern brands.

NOVEMBER 16th, 2023 — Residence, a network of creative service firms and community-oriented organizations dedicated to empowering creative potential, continues its expansion with the merger of wild into its ecosystem.
Wild offers design and development for digital products including websites, interactive experiences, digital campaigns, digital branding, design systems, and technical consulting.

Wild is also pioneering innovative uses of AI. For clients, wild develops custom AI solutions that harness the latest advancements in large language models (LLMs) and generative AI. Wild also leverages AI to improve its internal processes and support the goals of companies within the Residence network, including novel approaches to curatorial tools for It’s Nice That.
Founded in 2013 and led by Matthias Mentasti, Thomas Ragger, and Thomas Lichtblau, wild embraces a virtual-first work culture with a team that spans Europe, Africa, and North America while creating award-winning work for a diverse range of brands including Red Bull, IKEA, Nutrafol, Disney, Meta, and Google.
With wild, Residence is bolstering its ability to serve both North American and European markets. Earlier this year, fellow Residence company BUCK opened its London office two years after launching its Amsterdam location. The network’s LTM revenue now exceeds $150M USD and is poised for further growth in 2024.
Matthias Mentasti, Co-Founder, wild says: Our team is the heart of our identity, and we recognized that Residence was the perfect fit for us when we saw the value they place on their people and culture. Their work has consistently set industry standards, and we're excited to expand the network with a digital component.
Ryan Honey, Chief Growth Officer, Residence says: Not only does wild embody Residence’s values of creative culture wholeheartedly, but their dedication to their craft and excitement around innovation is a perfect fit for our network and our collective clients. Over the past six months, almost all of the companies within Residence have had the opportunity to collaborate with the wild team on pitches, internal tools, our own websites and some innovative projects for clients. Having wild’s skillset within the network has already proven to be a benefit to all of our companies and we are looking forward to introducing them to more clients in 2024.
